Introducing the High Performance Parent Podcast!
5 mega conversations with high performing parents
Hey strangers, remember me?!
Happy new year and all that jazz. Hoping you got something that resembled rest over the festive season. Honestly, I didn’t really, but I did have a child and dog free weekend away early in January to compromise. It was glorious.
I’m going to share some reflections on last year, and the future of HPP real soon - but for now, delighted to announce the launch of the podcast! Recorded late last year, I’ve spent a lot of energy with trying to edit and refine the episodes, and come up with some master plan for launching it to the world, but as with the newsletter, it’s been really hard to prioritise between work and parenthood.
So instead of trying to perfect it, I’ve just shipped it and will see how the world responds :)
I had a lot of fun making it, and learned a tonne from 5 exceptional high performing parents who I’ve admired for a while. Here’s some overviews and links for you:
🟢 Firstly, here is a little episode I recorded on my own to introduce HPP and provide people with context for the podcast.
🟢 Sarah Robb O'Hagan - What are the parallels between the world of elite performance and parenting?
🟢 Lauren Currie OBE - How do we build greater confidence and agency as parents?
🟢 Tobi Asare - How do we effectively blend our work and life as parents?
🟢 Andy Ayim MBE - What does it mean to live, work, and parent with intention?
🟢 Sedge Beswick - How does ambition evolve when we become a parent?
Please do give them a listen, sharer any feedback, and if you like it, share it far and wide! And give me a few weeks and I will have a better update for you on the future of it all too.
Catch you soon!
Carl
